The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), an autonomous body and not-for-profit institution, set up in 1983, is sponsored by apex financial institutions, namely the IDBI Bank Ltd, IFCI Ltd. ICICI Ltd and State Bank of India (SBI). The Institute is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and the Public Trust Act 1950. The Government of Gujarat pledged twenty-three acres of land on which stands the majestic and sprawling EDII campus. EDII partnered with Hand in Hand Academy for Social Entrepreneurship in 2016 and together they offer the Certificate Programme in Management Studies. Through this partnership, curriculum, faculty and evaluation are performed by EDII

SCSVMV University is partnering with Hand in Hand Academy for Social Entrepreneurship to offer a 6 month post graduate diploma in banking, technology and microfinance. This will be a unique platform that blends expertise from both institutions to deliver an outstanding programme that hones students to achieve their dreams!

Going forward, The Academy will be hosting tests of other courses conducted by The School as well. ​
